This allows the user to choose how the vehicle’s engine power is delivered, to better suit any change in driving conditions or whatever the driver’s needs maybe.
For example:
- If your vehicle is towing heavy loads, you can simply adjust the module unit to its pre-programmed Towing Map Mode.
- Once the desired Map is selected with the soft touch buttons, the Module will deliver an increase to your vehicles low down torque range to get you moving much easier.
- It will also smoothen out the vehicles power delivery all the way to the increased higher end of the engines RPM range, giving you the power to overtake any obstacles, all while saving you precious dollars with better fuel economy.
- If you decided to remove the DPU Module at any stage, all DPU modules will leave no trace of operation on the vehicles engine control unit. DPU offer a 2-year warranty on any manufactures faults on all Module units and software, so you can have peace of mind when it comes to purchasing performance control systems. Warranty Terms & Conditions
All warranty claims must first be submitted in writing, accompanied with original proof of purchase and photo’s maybe requested. DPU take no responsibility for improper use or incorrect installation. The complete Module and Wiring Harness must be returned at purchaser’s expense. DPU will examine the Module housing and Harness to ensure of manufacturing failure. All history of operation will be downloaded and analysed. DPU will not cover any warranty claims if damage has been caused by incorrect installation or Modules/Wiring Harness damaged by excessive heat source exposures. Incorrect mounting position causing damage to the Module unit/Wiring Harness will also void any warranty claims. All installation instructions must be correctly followed for correct fitment to avoid product damage which may void any warranty claims. Note: that no claims will be accepted if there is evidence that the Module housing and Wiring Harness have been opened or modified from the way it was originally manufactured. Acts of neglect or misuse are evident. Modules/accessories are attached to not the recommended vehicle of use. Before installation of any product, please ensure you have received the correct parts you have purchased. Ordering the correct parts is the responsibility of the buyer. Return of a product in an un-used condition will attract a 10% retake fee where SJM OFFROAD Pty Ltd is not at fault.
